Responsibilities / Duties:
The responsibilities and duties of the Territory Sales Manager are as follows: Candidate must be experienced and comfortable interfacing and corresponding with a broad utility customer base. This position is responsible for the introduction of products, market management and product support of our broad product line.

Candidate will be in charge of introducing and supporting a variety of products to utility companies, as well as administering technical sales, training and support. Candidate will be responsible for orders sufficient to meet or exceed revenue objectives for the region. Analyzing the market, analyzing competitive landscape and developing business plans are a necessity. Development and implementation of strategies to penetrate and/or improve product sales are a must. Candidate has to display a willingness to learn technical products and systems.

Forecasts and Reports:
Orders and Revenue Forecast – develop and maintain monthly forecasts for regional customer base.

4–year Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Field (i.e. Mechanical Engineering or Business (marketing / sales). Consideration will be given to a broad range of other majors – technical experience can override necessity of college degree.

At least 5 years experience in business to business sales (preferably technical sales to utility companies or other large organizations) Strong technical skills. Oil & Gas Sales experience a plus.

Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% time to customers and trades shows (within territory).
